Brilliant
The way the story was told was great, I love seeing how each crime got gradually worse and how the story went from a drunken night to a death. The animation was great and the orb suits were pretty cool. Great job!

Oh yeah, it does escalate, though the entire story arch of the series escalates as well. Only in the sense of reality and consciousness. I'm digging deep with these characters into who I am and my perception of the universe.
Cool
Great choice of music, nice dark atmosphere, violent, looks good. I look forward to the real thing.
Oh jolly pot roast... you might get dissapointed.
A great concept
I'm not particularly sure what this was a metaphor for (as you mentioned, drugs, capitalism) but it certainly does a good job as a metaphor for greed in general. There are some brilliantly surreal tones and the fact that it's done without any speech whatsoever adds to my fascination. I don't know if George Orwell was in any way an influence, but it certainly feels like his style. Especially since it's about pigs.
Yeah, the similarity to Orwell is accidental, but a few months back I realised that it was like Animal Farm meets 1984, making it double Orwell. I'm not sure if I find that annoying or funny.
